🔨 How to balance Triple constraints? Scope, Schedule and Cost

Manage Your Project to Success

Gain control of your project and save time & money with the following solutions.

  1. Time-boxed brainstorming

Allocate strict, short time limitis for idea generation to foster creativity under constraint. Use pomodor technique.

  2. Value-first prioritization

Focus on delivering features or elements that bring the most value first, even if they're smaller in scope. Use a priority matrix to list deliverables.

  3. Reverse engineering deadlines

Start from the desired completion date and work backward to set key milestones. Begin with the projects end date and then track backwards.

  4. Rolling wave planning

Plan in detail only for the phases that are imminent and maintain a flexible approach for later stages. Divide the project into phases.

  5. Dynaminc resource allocation

Instead of static resource allocation, regularly adjust team members based on current project needs, ensuring optimal use of skills. Review resource allocations on the weekly basis.

🔑 Motivation & Discipline

Here are the key thing to focus on:

  1. Disciplined Project Managers Can Keep Their Projects On Track

  2. Disciplined Project Managers Can Effectively Manage Their Time

  3. Disciplined Project Managers Can Make a Huge Impact

  4. A Disciplined Project Manager Is A Successful Project Manager
