Comfort with uncertainty

Ability to think big and achieve game-changing greatness

✨Project manager is an Entrepreneur.

Not everyone can be an entrepreneur. But a project manager is well-suited for the role.

Project managers
✨directing a temporary, risky and complex endeavor

Entrepreneurs
✨directing a unique outcome, challenges and complicated venture

Similarities
✨Comfort with uncertainty

Characteristics needed to be successful in both worlds:

Leadership

Completing business requirements and projects while getting people to follow the same vision requires storng leadership skills, such as influence and clear communication.

Self-motivation.

Entrepreneurs do not need anybody to motivate them on daily basis to stay focused and sharp on the end goal. The best project practitioners don’t, either—they establish the desired goal and drive early in the project and constantly revisit it until the project is completed.

Resiliency.

The possibility of succeeding smoothly or failing miserably in a business or project is always present (risk which we have to accept). And at any given moment, you could feel as if success or failure is imminent, but resiliency can carry you through ups and downs.

Seven basic quality tools

✨Quality is a crucial factor in all projects

✅it determines the satisfaction of stakeholders

✅the success of the project in meeting its objectives

✍️I define Quality as meeting the expectations/requirements

📝If you are preparing for the CAPM or PMP exam this is something you need to have a good understanding of.
