“The only people who can still strike us as normal are those we don’t yet know very well. The best cure for love is to get to know them better.”
YOU DON'T NEED PMP CERTIFICATION.
Why?
I often receive the question which PM certifications you need to either jump-start or enhance your career.
My answer is NONE.
Instead of chasing certifications, what can be a game changer in your project management career is acquiring the right skills.
Which skills?
✅ Communication
✅ Understanding different methodologies
✅ Leadership
✅ Planning
✅ Cost control
But first, here is the first action. Map out your transferable PM skills.
Here are some essentials which most likely you already have:
✔️ Time management
✔️ Team development
✔️ Problem-solving
✔️ Communication
✔️ Attention to detail
✔️ Critical thinking

✔️ Here are my Key Leadership Behaviors, which I try to implement on all my projects.
✍️ This list is not exclusive, but rather built through my career in project management in the past 14 years.
🌟 Building Trust:
Ensuring that your people look upon you with respect by doing the following:
going beyond your self-interest for the good of the group;
displaying a sense of power and confidence;
🌟 Delegation:
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their strengths and abilities
🌟 Inspiring Others:
The extent to which you demonstrate a positive view of the future and of what needs to be done by:
Talking optimistically about the future;
Providing positive communication about what needs to be achieved;
Articulating a compelling vision of the future;
Expressing confidence that goals will be achieved.
🌟 Decision-making:
Make decisions in a timely and effective manner. Gathering and analyzing
information, weighing different options, and considering the impact of decisions on the project
and stakeholders.
