Many people will fail PMP 1st time try, here is why
It is Tuesday and I'm preparing for the Friday Webinar.
Hello friends,
It is Tuesday and I'm preparing for the Friday Webinar.
But, I keep receiving the the following message in my inbox in the past 2 years.
"I am committed"
I hear this from those who are already burnout.
"I studied in the past 3 months, everyday, normally 2 to 3 hours."
This approach led to:
"I do not remember the concepts."
"I scored just 57% on mock tests."
"It felt like I was constantly missing something."
Many of my students gave me this message.
But why does this happen?
The root cause can be found in the lack of Study plan.
You apply to PMP certification with over 36 months experience.
You run projects successfully at company you working for but still,
- no real structure
- no real baseline
- no real weekly plan
For example, Rebecca reached out to me with exactly the same problems she faced:
- "I've been studying on my own, but I'm not sure I'm on the right track."
- "My application was approved but I started to run out of time."
- "I study almost everyday. Reading/Videos/Flashcards/Question - I feel like, I have a huge gap, test scores are bad, I don't understand the mindset."
I told her there is no magic, she needs a step-by-step guide on "what to do".
So, we created an 8 week study plan.
Which explained
- what to do
- when to do
- how to do it
Clear goals
Clear expectation

You should study smarter, not harder.
On Friday, I will dedicate 90 minutes to explain the "mechanics" of the 8 weeks study plan.

If Rebecca could do it in 8 weeks, you could do it too :)
